In the middle of this beautiful, unspoiled nature, on a hillside above the Peruca Lake, you will find this cozy holiday rental run by welcoming Mrs. Cvita, great gardener and even better cook. The house consists of two separate holiday apartments. Small studio apartment is located on the ground floor and it has 4 single beds, a kitchenette and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a large 3-bedroom apartment, with a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. It can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people in 1 double, 1 triple and 1 twin room, with one spare bed and an additional fold-out sofa in the living room. The living room is very spacious and comfortable enough for a large group and it features lovely views over the lake and surrounding woods. In front of the house there are plenty of places to sit and relax, admiring the nature. There are several wooden tables and chairs, a swing and another viewpoint above the house with a table and a bench. In the garden you’ll find fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, all organic produce. Around this lovely estate there are many aromatic wild herbs which can be picked to make your own herbal teas. What will definitely enhance your stay and make you want to come back for more are delicious homemade products that can be tasted over breakfast, if arranged with the owner: liqueurs, marmalades, jams, teas, juices etc.

Activities

Around the estate there are many local roads great for walking, as well as hiking and cycling trails around the 20 km long Peruca lake. Natural sites that definitely deserve to be explored are mountains Dinara and Svilaja and the enchanting Cetina river spring. On a nearby ranch you can enjoy horse riding, while guided kayak and cycling tours can be organized upon request as well.

Several historic places of interest in the area worth your attention: the 15th-century Prozor fortress above Vrlika offering spectacular views over the Vrlika field, several mills around Vrlika (Marasova Mlinica, Vukovića mlinica, Lelasova mlinica), stećci – medieval monolithic tombstones to be found on a local road between Dragovic and Laktac villages, the ancient church of St Spas dating back to 9th century, Vukovica house in Podosoje – house where emperor Franz Josef spent the night on his visit to Vrlika in 1875, ever since known as the Vrlika’s Schönbrunn.
