What to expect
After the pickup, enjoy the scenic drive along the coastline towards Omiš and then upstream along the river course between the mountains to our canyoning base in Zadvarje. On arrival you’ll snap on your helmet, wet suit and life jacket and receive a safety briefing. After a short drive to the start, you’ll begin your 15-minute hike through sepertines straight to the mouth of the canyon where you’ll plunge into the refreshing water. After the trek has kept you on your toes and warmed you up, we’ll start floating along the river and splashing down a series of waterslides into plunge pools. Your wet and wild adventure includes roughly 3 hours of fun – leaping off limestone cliffs, sliding down natural chutes, climbing over rocks, swimming in the crystal clear river and taking short breaks while letting the water carry you on your back down a natural channel. The most adventurous ones can put their skills to test with an optional free jump from the highest waterfall on the Cetina River followed up by a memorable swim under the magnificent 50-meter high Velika Gubavica waterfall. Rest assured that your guides will be on hand throughout the journey to show you the way and ensure your safety. At the end of your canyoning tour, you will get aboard your minivan again for the return drive. Your unforgettable day on the Cetina River ends with a drop off at agreed location.
